I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Anthony Alfieri and the entire team at Delaware Advanced Vein Center for the exceptional care I received.

I came to Delaware Advanced Vein Center because I was experiencing severe pain, heaviness, and discomfort in my legs. It had become very difficult for me to work an 8-hour shift and spend long periods of time on my feet.

Dr. Alfieri performed procedures on both of my legs, and I am so happy to say that I feel so much better now. The pain and heaviness are gone, and I can work an 8-hour shift without the discomfort I was experiencing before. This has made such a positive difference in my everyday life.

I also want to give special recognition to the entire staff. Everyone was kind, compassionate, attentive, and truly caring throughout my treatment. You can tell that this is a team of highly skilled professionals who genuinely care about their patients.

And a very special thank you to Dr. Alfieri. You are truly amazing at what you do! Thank you for giving me back the ability to work and go about my daily life without the pain and heaviness I had been living with.

My experience at this point has been very positive. My veins are extremely bad. Starting having procedures done in July and now it's the end of August. Strongly recommend if you have any discomfort/swelling from vein issues . Dr Alfieri, Cheryl And Julie are very professional and welcoming during my visits . After 6 procedures legs are feeling great no swelling or aching legs . Looking forward to getting more hikes in this fall !

My first experience was with a VNUS closure on my left leg. what a difference it made. I have battled leg pain and was skeptical about going back to get my legs checked again because the last place I went did not treat the underlying problem before doing Sclerotherapy treatments and it did nothing, never went away. After having an ultra sound on my legs, then talking with Dr. Alfieri I had no reservations about doing the procedure. No more pain and I was in and out quickly and returned to normal activities that day. Dr. Alfieri is the best and his staff are so awesome . My second procedure was Sclerotherapy. I have a lot of spider veins and I’m still healing from the first area done but I can definitely see results. I highly recommend going in for a consultation. You won’t be disappointed!

Every time I go to my appointments I have the best experience . Dr. Alfieri is very pleasant and knows what he is doing. He gave me answers that other doctors couldn’t figure out. The staff Jules and Saige are always professional and friendly . Hands down the best doctor.

I ecspecially want to recognize Saige & Cheryl (the ultrasound techs) and Kelsey & Julie (the medical assistants) they were kind, compassionate, professional and were incredibly skilled at their jobs. Their friendly attitudes and reassuring care made all the difference, and I truly appreciate how they treated me as a person and not just a patient.

Dr. Alfieri is so knowledgeable and encouraging! He is the best! All of his staff are so courteous, friendly, and most helpful! Especially two lovely ladies Jules and Saige who assist the doctor. They could not have been nicer and are very helpful when answering questions. I highly recommend this medical practice to everyone! I am SO happy I found Dr. Alfieri and avoided unnecessary surgery!

I absolutely love the staff and Dr.Alferi!! My legs used to hurt so bad and feel so tired but after getting them cared for with the venaseals and verasels* I believe that's how you spell it lol, I feel ten years younger. I give props to Kelsey, Cheryl and Saige! I had a scary experience with using the laughing gas and they validated my feelings, calmed me down and now I am 100% okay with the gas. Another time ai felt just off after a procedure and they kept me and ran extra test and again validated my feelings and waited with me till I felt better. Please if your considering this come in and get an evaluation and feel better you will not regret it!

I had the vein in my leg worked on today. Dr. Alfieri did my procedure without any problems. His staff are eager to help and assist him while doing the procedure, Jules and Saige did a good job, I felt at ease with their help and kindness.

I had heaviness in my legs, and experienced leg pain prior to treatment. My primary care, Jessica suggested I get tested and the testing indicated I had Venous Insufficiency.

Saige did the initial testing and was friendly and helpful.

Simone greets me, is always prepared with my paperwork when I arrive.

Virginia scheduled the procedures timely and returned calls promptly - no waiting.

Technicians, Jules, Cheryl, Kelsey explained the ultrasound process, and the post operative procedure.

This practice communicated the treatment plan, explained the treatment process and gave me time to ask questions. The educational material provided was informative.

I have had a wonderful Experience at the Delaware vein Center. Sophia and Taj have been a wonderful addition to do company. thank you for all your hard work.

Did you know that ugly and distorted leg veins is a common disease that is usually covered by insurance? I don't know why I waited so long to get them fixed! My legs feel soooo
much better and look great! Dr. Alfieri and his team, Sage and Jules, are pleasant and efficient and the process only takes a few minutes. If your legs hurt, are tired and look ugly, call the Vein Center.

What a great experience at Delaware Advanced Vein center. Everything was explained in detail prior to my appointments. Jules & Cheryl were a great help answering additional questions that I had. I also enjoyed that I did not wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment.

Four procedures with Doctor Anthony, Jules & Cheryl. Excellent professional and friendly staff. Very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. Doctor Anthony very patient, very happy to answer all my questions about my condition, the procedures, follow-up and other related questions. I wish I had more procedures (just kidding), they are so nice.

Outstanding service that is the best around. From the support staff who were so compassionate and kind to the marvelous Dr. Alfieri himself. As an RN of nearly 40 years, you can imagine that I have ridiculously high standards when it comes to physicians. Dr. Alfieri meets all those ridiculously high standards: he is an excellent clinician, he is kind, he takes the time that’s needed with each individual patient, and he enjoys what he does and so does his staff. From the front desk person to the person who walks you back out to the waiting room when you’re done, every member of Dr. Alfieri’s team meets those same high standards. You won’t be disappointed!

I want to express my satisfaction with the medical services I received at Delaware Advanced Vein Center. In 2025 my primary care physician at Preventive Primary Care, part of Delaware Advanced Vein Center ordered an ultrasound which revealed varicose veins in both legs. I had two Venaseal procedures performed (one on each leg) at the vein center with a follow-up ultrasound one week later after each procedure. The ultrasounds revealed the Venaseal procedures were a success and with no blood clots. The discomfort from the procedures was minimal and I lost no time at work. In early 2026 I received an injection in each leg below the knee to close off veins. One leg was done at a time, and you will feel a pinch much like a shot. Several days later an ultrasound was performed which revealed no blood clots and the procedures were a success. I had a total of about nine office visits to treat my varicose veins, and each was relatively quick. I found Dr. Alfieri and his staff to be welcoming and professional. They will check with your insurance company and communicate with you about what is covered. I highly recommend Delaware Advanced Vein Center and Preventive Primary Care.
