What Is a Vein Screening?
A free vein screening at Delaware Advanced Vein Center is an educational and informative consultation about veins and conditions that affect the veins. During a consultation, a vascular technician visually looks at the legs and identifies any spider veins, varicose veins, and other preemptive vein issues the patient may have. The technician will discuss the differences in treatment between spider veins and varicose veins and, lastly, suggest the best treatment plan for the patient.
Why Does the Delaware Advanced Vein Center Offer Free Vein Screenings?
The purpose of free vein screenings at Delaware Advanced Vein Center is to educate individuals on vein health and on what they can do to improve their veins. Delaware Advanced Vein Center offers free vein screenings to give individuals the opportunity to have their legs looked at by a vascular technician as well as become educated on different treatment options. Most importantly, the technician will be able to suggest the best form of treatment to have the healthiest looking legs. It is a great way for individuals to find out if their veins are healthy and what their treatment options are without going to the hospital. Offering free vein screenings is one way Delaware Advanced Vein Center incentivizes individuals to take their vein health seriously!
Why Should I Get a Screening?
Everyone can benefit from a vein screening. It is a useful tool to let you know if there are any underlying vein conditions that need to be addressed. Vein “imperfections” make individuals self-conscious and can limit their lifestyle. With warm weather on the way, NOW is the time to transform your legs. Varicose veins are not just a cosmetic problem. If untreated, they can progress to a more serious form of vein disease.
